Polyurethane Coatings – Mil –Spec Type UR

Polyurethanes are very versatile coatings. They can withstand exposure to harsh chemicals and environmental conditions. Type UR coatings have a durable finish that provides a protective coating for printed circuit boards against moisture, corrosion, and thermal shock. Polyurethane coatings insulate electrical and electronic components and assemblies, including generators, motors, transformers, relays, and solenoid coils. Type UR coatings can be sprayed, Dipped or molded. The liquid can be thinned using the appropriate thinners to adjust solids content.
